PINK SATURDAY ROSES

Happy Pink Saturday............
I met so many new blogging friends last week....thank you for visiting my blog and leaving such lovely comments!!!!!!  Blogland really is one of THE MOST INSPIRING PLACES!!!
Today I wanted to show you some gorgeous PINK roses from my garden.  They are David Austin climbing roses and are one of my favorites!!!
The beautiful hand stamped ribbon you see along side my centerpiece is from my friend Tracey,
at Raggygirl Vintage.  She absolutely spoiled me on my birthday and you will be seeing more of the fabulous things she made for me!!!!

I found this little galvanized container at the thrift store......stenciled some words on it, filled it with water, floating candles and my pretty roses.
Thank you to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for hosting Pink Saturday......be sure to visit her blog for links to all the participants!!!!
Happy day!

I so love this post. Your David Austin roses are exquisite. What beauties. I can smell them as I type. Thank you for sharing their fragrance this evening.

I love your tin container, and how beautiful with the floating candles and roses. Everything looks so elegant. I love it. That ribbon is really gorgeous too. I save all ribbon and fabrics. They always have a use down the line don't they?

Your photos are so beautiful. Thank you for the wonderful share today.

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY JANIS,
YOUR DAVID AUSTIN ROSES ARE STUNNING. I LOVE SMALL PIECES OF FABRIC AND I LVE ALL RIBBONS BUT I REALLY LOVE VELVET. I LOVE THE SOFTNESS OF IT AS I RUN IT THROUGH MY FINGERS.
I AM GLAD YOU WERE SPOILED ON YOUR BIRTHDAY.
I LOVE THE ROSES WITH THE CANDLES FLOATING IN THE GALVANIZED CONTAINER. IT IS SO TACTILE, AUROMATIC AND JUST BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE A GIFTED PHOTOGRAPHER.

Hi Janis, Beautiful pics, you really are talented. About the crown... Scott's is an antique market I sell at here in Atlanta. I don't exactly remember how much I paid, but I would like to say $45.00. Let me know if you have anymore questions. (P.S. you maybe able to find it at your local small retailer gift shop).
