CUPBOARD DOOR CHALKBOARD

Welcome to White Wednesday.
I found some old cupboard doors at a thrift store this past spring and was so excited to turn them into chalkboards like I had seen Ana at A Petite Cottage do.  The inside part of the cupboard door is painted with chalkboard paint and the outside a beautiful white.

I drilled a hole in the front to fit an old glass door knob I had on hand.
I love my little birdie stamp done on some vintage music papers...
Please visit Kathleen's blog at Faded Charm Cottage for thumbnails to all the White Wednesday participants.....it is an amazing group of talented bloggers.
Happy day!

The glass know is a wonderful touch. I love making chalkboards. I've been hunting for cabinet doors for a while but never seem to come across them.

Hi Janis,
You are just too sweet. I love your blog and always, always, always draw so much inspiration from it. I think you're just so creative and talented...To think that you liked one on my ideas just humbles me so. Thank you dear friend. Love, love, love the knob and cute birdie stamp. Have a fantabulous day.

Hugs and Kisses,
♥Ana

I just happened to win that bird stamp set at our 'retweet' this summer. I haven't used it yet, but I can't wait to get it out and play. I am busy wasting my time searching for a writing desk for my bedroom. I might try Homesense.
My sister is flying down tonight - someone to get into trouble with ;)
