MAGNETIC MESSAGE BOARD

I have soooo much "STUFF" in my craft room that sometimes I feel like I'm drowning!!!!  So much "stuff" but funny how I can never find anything when I am looking for it.  Well, enough is enough......I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!!   So.....I have spent the past few days cleaning, sorting, organizing and getting rid of.  Amazing some of the stuff I have uncovered!!  Michaels has all their Cube and Making Memories organizers on 50% off.......I am once again loving my craft room and feeling so much more organized.
Still have a ways to go, but I will be sure to show you some pictures once I get it all done!
Sure hope you are all having a great week!!!

Oops, almost forgot......this is a silver tray turned magnetic bulletin board that I made (take a magnet with you on your thrifting treks so you can determine whether a tray is magnetic).
Happy day!

I always regret letting my Grandmother get rid of all her silver when I see the cool things you do with it! I like this one!

What a great idea! I'll have to borrow the Grandkid's magnet and see if any of my old silver plate trays will work for that project! *WINK* Editing must be in the air as I'm also purging a lot of my Treasures and storage items... I'm afraid if I don't I'd be profiled on an episode of "Hoarders" if they get around to profiling those who gather too much beautiful stuff!?! *LOL*

Good idea about taking a magnet along with you.....I'm always on the lookout for things to make into magnet boards, but not always sure they will work.

Take care,

Kathleen

I have given several of these trays for gifts this year as memo boards or chalk boards and it's all because of you and your great ideas! My friends LOVE them. Thanks for your inspiration!

I have been sorting and purging, too. Getting ready for my Dad and sister coming in a few weeks.
Maybe I need a new memo board, I am sure I could find SOMEWHERE to hang it. sigh.

I'm trying so hard to finish all of the projects I've got in my garage. It's as bad as my studio now. I've started buying antiques to refinish.

I've missed visiting you this summer.
