Old hand mirror/brush sets are great finds at your local thrift stores. I often use them in place of a tag atop a gift. Rub-ons (found at your local scrapbooking store) adhere easily to the mirror. A little jewel finishes off the look. Oh...and the eiffel tower water globe......what a great thrift store find that was!!!
Happy thrifting and thanks so much for visiting my blog and leaving a comment.

Thanks for the lovely comment in my blog, thus leading me to your beautiful blog, I love all your thrifty finds, so beautiful the way you make them look.
Hello again Janis, I just had to come back for another visit! I love the old mirror that you embellished... I saw one priced very reasonably at a local thrift shop the other day, I am heading over there today to snatch it up and make it pretty like yours! And the Eiffel tower under glass... beautiful! I am of French heritage, so anything French I immediately fall in love with... I will be back to visit often... Julie Marie
Janis,
Thank you for your kind comment. I will spend more time with you blog, and love everything I've seen so far. Let me know what you think of my book. I featured Yasmine McGrane's Maison Reve in its pages and on the cover. Your Scrabble creation reminds me of her work. Check out her website. It's so inspirational: www.maisonreve.com.
Take care!
Stan
