VINTAGE OPTICAL LENS NECKLACE

My friend Carrie, from The Passionate Home in Langley, loves old stuff as much as I do.

  She gave me a bag of vintage treasures to dig through in order to create a necklace for her....here is the first of two that I have made for her (please no peeking Carrie!!).

 The old optical lens looks wonderful paired with this rather gothic looking silver piece.

I am so excited to tell you that Carrie is in the process of moving her store to a BIGGER location!!!

SHOE LOVE!

 I just LOVE shoes, so had to try this adorable idea I saw at the JunkMarket Style Show

 in Minnesota last spring......

These old wooden shoe forms were found at a thrift store....and I simply added an old drawer pull to the front and wire to the back to make them in to a cute card display!

Isn't this little guy just adorable.....he is from a set of old post cards I came across in an antique store....I added a little bit of glitter and an old button and stood it up in an old flower frog.
