FARM CHICKS IN CANADA!!! (not really)

Carrie at The Passionate Home is having a special "Farm Chicks Event" at her store in downtown Langley, BC today!!!  I was there first thing this morning and it really is a must see!!!!

Picked up this wonderful crown so rushed home to take some pictures.

WHITE WEDNESDAY AT RUST AND RUFFLES

Welcome to another White Wednesday at Rust & Ruffles (previously known as junkdreams)....

Today I wanted to show you a little chair that I have had in the garage forever...I finally finished it up this week and had a chance to snap some pictures of it outside between rain storms.

Sitting on top of the chair is a gorgeous "crown" jar my dad gave me from his collection.

VINTAGE BLACK FRIDAY

 I have been wanting to participate in Vintage Black Friday for awhile and am finally getting my act together to do so. 

Today I thought I would show you a thrift store lamp that I re-vamped a couple months back.

I stamped strips of torn sheet with one of the stamps from my "Paris" set and then glued them to the frame of the shade.

The lamp started out as a brass piece and I gave it a few coats of black spray paint......VOILA.... instantly transformed to a piece that I love.
