It's time for......
another VALENTINES PROJECT!!!
I had this old garden gate which (for some reason) I absolutely love. I added
some large wooden letters that I got here.
I painted the letters with Annie Sloan pure white which I got here, and
I haven't quite decided but I think I'll probably end up putting a fresh
coat on the gate as well as this may be just a bit "too shabby"
for my home.
Whatever the case I must say I do "LOVE" the way this turned out (mind you, if I didn't
love it you wouldn't be seeing pictures of it on my blog-LOL)
You can see another project
I did very similiar to this one here.

yes another great project janis
LOVE it~~
I love it just the way it is. I think the contrast between the white letters and the shabby gate are perfect!!
This is TOO AWESOME Janis!!! You made a great piece of art out of that shabby gate!
hugs from here...
I love your old gate, Janis! I have an old fence section I use on our porch a lot...they make such great backdrops!
Hi Janis,
My sister was just commenting the other day how much she loves your blog....Me too!
The picket Love fence is adorable.
We were eyeing a picket fence at the shop and it will probably end up looking like yours. So thanks for the inspiration.

I guess I will be out looking for a gate now. Might even help with my "puppy" problems. lol
Great project.
*Hugs*
Cute idea. My hubby picked up piece that was being discarded that kinda resembles your beautiful shabby gate. It's way smaller and not a gate, but has the same feel...Hmm, wheels are turning. Thanks for the inspirating. You always have such great ideas Janis. Love it!
Hugs,
❤Ana
I just love the Big Letters like that- look great against the fencing too..
