RECYCLED FRAMES

Happy White Wednesday!!!!
I am absolutely exhausted today with all the work up to getting the boys back to school---don't think any of us slept a wink last night.  My boys have gone to the same school together for years as it is kindergarten to grade twelve and my youngest started at a completely different school today so we were all pretty anxious for him.  Turns out everything went great and he is in love with his new school  so I am so relieved..change is never easy......
Back to my WW project.......these are some recycled frames from the thrift store.  I spray painted them white, added a rub-on to the glass, and backed them with some pretty scrapbooking paper.
A crystal and vintage earring finish off the frames.
Hoping these first days of school go well for all of you with school-age children.
Blessings to you!
xojanis

Don't forget to visit Kathleen at Faded Charm Cottage for thumbnails to all the WW participants.

So pretty Janis. I have some frames that could really use a make-over. Thank you for the great idea.
I hope your boys had a wonderful first day.
I loved your feature in the HOME publication Janis. It was so great to see you in there.

Very, very lovely frames. My kids are grown, but my two grands here in Winnipeg started in a new school this year after moving out to the country. I am anxious to know how that went.
I would love to meet you the next time I am out your way!
Hugs, Cindy

Nice that you had a white diversion...school days can be stressful....even for those of us who have been going forever!
The middle school staff are just as apprehensive as the kidlets!

How lucky you are that you actually start school in September instead of the middle of August like we do here in Nor-Cal! Enjoy your time with your son, they grow up way too fast, Marcia

Yay, I can comment again!!!! I know what you mean by pre-school year jitters and starting a new school is huge. My kiddos are in their 2nd week now and we are already tired. Love your frames!

How cute. My last little one started kindergarten this year. It is quiet but it is nice to have all day to get things done then spend after school time with them.

Love your recycled frames... glad that your little one's first day at a new school went so well. We're raising two of our Grandchildren and the youngest one started 'Head Start' this year, so I finally have free Mornings all to myself while she enjoys School. She's been waiting for this moment for two years and loves her class, Teachers and new Friends...
