June 29, 2010

WHITE WEDNESDAY CHANDY

First of all.....how on earth did it get to be the END OF JUNE!!!!??!!
Secondly, welcome to White Wednesday, hosted by Kathleen at Faded Charm Cottage.....
This is a cheap-o thrift store chandelier that I removed the eletrical wiring from, gave a few coats of white spray paint and added some crystals to.
Pink and white are always so pretty together!
Today I placed my little chandy into my birdbath amid this lovely pink rose for a little photo shoot, but it usually hangs from a bird cage stand in my backyard.
Hope you are enjoying your White Wednesday.
Happy day!

I love painting "cheap-o" chandeliers as you called them! I also like the way you placed it in the birdbath with the flowers!

Hi Janis,
I love your chandelier. I also like to paint cheap light fixtures and turn them into candlelabras.

Your photos are beautiful. Who, besides you, would think to do such a lovely photo shoot using a fountain, water and roses!

hugs
Sissie

You're right, the pink and white...I'm loving it too.
And the white crown is a nice garden accent. I saw one at the thrift yesterday and thought it a bit pricey...$10 but I may just have to go back and get it. And spray it white of course.
Great inspiration!
WW Blessings ;-)

So beautiful! It looks pretty in the bird bath, but it's probably a little more practical hanging from the stand -- (and still pretty).

Beautiful photos. The pink and white go so wonderful together and add in a little statuary and I'm sold.

Take care,
