VINTAGE CAKE PLATES

I'm always on the lookout for vintage cake plates, and like to glam them up a bit
by adding some crystals and jewelry.

Hope all is well with my blogging buddies.
Happy day!

People always looking for cake plate at the antique store where I work....with the covers, even better!!! Beautiful way to dress them up! Any way you can get jewelry out there, the better. Saw another way to utilize jewelry in an "artsy" way....will share pictures from our weekend away in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to celebrate our second anniversary. A gal inherited her grandma's jewelry and used it in her collage art....just so excited when jewelry gets out of the drawers!!! yes, debbie

Hi Janis
I'm a big fan of you blog. quick question what kind of paper do you used for your words on the plates and domes? I understand you used the criket but I was wondering what kind of paper is used that will stick to the glass plate or dome, please share with me I'm dying to know. Thank you very much!!
