March 2, 2010

THRIFT STORE FRAMES AND CHICKEN WIRE.

One of my favorite crafty projects is putting chicken wire behind old frames.
This is a project I did using an old THRIFT store frame.  The chicken wire is easily stapled to the back of the frame.  I decided to spray paint the frame and wire on this project.
I then printed a design on a piece of transfer paper and ironed it on it to a piece of burlap.
The burlap is then stapled (or glued) to the back of the frame.
Voila!.....an easy thrift store message board.
Happy day!

Fabulous! I'm inspired to try something like that--I have so many old castoff frames and this is a great way to repurpose them. Thanks!
