February 16, 2010

AN EASY LITTLE PROJECT!

It is so beautifully springy here today that I have to keep reminding myself that it is February!!!
Here is a fun little project that I did using old painting hoops I found at the thrift store.
These old hoops make beautiful little magnet boards when covered with a pretty paper.
This is what the hoops looked like before.
I traced the circle, cut and then applied to the metal using a spray glue.
That was all there was to it.  Easy peasy!!
Just a reminder about my giveaway.  I will be drawing names on Saturday, Feb.20, 2010.
Thank you SO VERY MUCH to everyone for all the very sweet comments
about my blog.....I appreciate you all very much!
Happy thrifting my blogging friends!

I absolutely love the paper you chose! Looks like it would go well in my pink and chocolate bedroom. Great idea Janis - most magnet boards are soooo boring. These are awesome and I also noticed the pink flower magnet ~ vintage jewelry? Just the right accessory for the paint hoop.
