VINTAGE CLOCK PROJECT

I so love old vintage clocks whether they work or not........this project is a great idea for ones that are no longer working.  Simply take the back off the clock, remove the clock workings and put a picture in.

I painted the body of this clock black and left the number plate intact as I thought it framed the picture just perfectly.

And, of course, I just had to add some bits and pieces of vintage jewelry.

Hope you are all having a fabulous day.  Thank you to all who visit my blog and leave such lovely comments!!
Happy day.

Hi Janis! I'm finally stealing a moment to do some blog visiting and must tell you how much I love yours! The clocks are a-w-e-s-o-m-e! I can NOT wait to come back and look around more as soon as my final show for the year is over in a couple of weeks. I hope you're enjoying your crown. ~Ann

Gorgeous Janis. Love, love, love your clocks.
Stop over at the "French Flea" blog if you have time. We are working on getting it up to speed. It'd be great if you could leave Julie (the blog owner a comment). I'm trying to help her out with it. http://thefrenchfleaofanoka.blogspot.com/2009/11/holidays-at-french-flea.html

Thanks Janis-

I just scored a clock this week at a thrift store to re purpose like yours. Not as cool as yours, but still will be a fun project. May post on my blog and JMS and link back to you as the inspiration. Is this o.k.? Love your ideas Janis.
