RECYCLED LAMP

Found some pictures of a project I did last summer......oh how lovely it is to see that green garden in the background as we are covered in white snow today.
This project was done using a vintage crystal lamp, old silver plate and an old crystal doorknob.
Drilling a hole in the center of the silver plate allowed me to attach it to the metal rod inside the lamp.  An old glass door knob was the perfect finishing touch and hides the metal rod and washer that attaches the plate.
Love the detail on this old plate!
Happy day!

CANDLE PROJECT

Did anyone else NOT know how easy it is to transfer stamped images on to candles??
I was so excited when I found this tutorial on the Somerset Magazine website.
All you need for this project is tissue paper, your stamping ink, stamps and a heating tool.
I added a little rhinestone to the crown.

So fun and like I said, SOOOO EASY!!!!
Happy day!

PIECES OF JUNK NECKLACE

Yesterday I was sorting through some bits and pieces of leftover junk I have accumulated and decided to use some of the pieces in a vintage re-designed necklace.
The center piece is a vintage ?rhinestone ring that came in a bag of jewelry I bought......I was ready to send it back to the thrift store, but wondered how it would look incorporated in to a necklace.
I used the ring as a base to hang all my little trinkets from.  The trinkets are an assortment of vintage earrings, chandelier crystals, beads and rosary crosses.

 Three layered chains.
I love this combination of pieces of junk!
Happy day!

VINTAGE RE-DESIGNED BRACELET

Here's another bracelet made from re-designed vintage elements that I just finished up for a customer.

This bracelet was created from two old vintage rhinestone bracelets, beads from an old rosary and small chandelier crystals.  The round center bead is a gorgeous ball embedded with rhinestones....it is from an old necklace found at a thrift store.

Happy day!
