GARDEN PINKS

One of my very favorite signs of sring is the 'bleeding heart' in my backyard garden.  It is a sure sign to me that warmer, sun-filled days are coming!
These are some wonderful old sap buckets that my friend Carrie found.  I applied the numbers to the front and they will be for sale in her store, The Passionate Home (that's if I don't decide to keep them for myself-LOL!)
Hope you are all having a wonderful day!

I love spring anywhere, but if I could choose I would always greet it in a garden. ~Ruth Stout

  4. Hi Janis,
Only you can take rusty buckets and make them look wonderful. The addition of the numbers did it!!

  10. Hello Janis... I love your bleeding hearts... I have two white ones as well, and can't wait for them to bloom... we had over 6inches of snow here in Utah last night, with more predicted for tonight, so they are all underneath all of that and I am so sad, I want Spring!!! xoxo Julie Marie

  12. Bleeding hearts were one of the first flowers I planted after moving into my grandparents estate.
I love to press them as they make awesome pressed flower art.
