SPRING SALE

Came across these pictures today and can't believe I've never posted them on my blog!  They show "the barn" in its glory during our Spring Festive Nest sale last year.  Credit for these beautiful pictures goes to the very talented Kim Christie.
And credit for the most delicious styling goes mostly to my very talented friend, Angela Kent
Don't you just wish you could move in to this sweet barn!!!!
This was the page our sale made in Romantic Country Magazine!
Well, I've been busy getting ready for the Old Farmhouse Vintage Market in June and have my fingers crossed (doubly so) that I might still get a spot at the Scout Vintage Market in May (although at this late date it doesn't look like it--the competition is pretty tough to get a spot in this popular market).  Also talked to Angela recently and she is toying with having a summer sale!  Yippee!
Hope all my blogging friends are well....just can't seem to find the time for much blogging lately, but think of you all often.

Happy Spring Days!

IT'S SPRINGING HERE!

Yippee.....spring is finally springing here on the West Coast.
Can't wait to get out in the garden again!!!!
In the meantime I will have to make do with my fake flower I made from
an old tap turner on-er thingy.

Happy day my blogging friends!

WINTER WISH & FESTIVE NEST

Well winter arrived here on the West Coast in full force yesterday with our first snow fall!!

I love making these paper pinwheels.....these banners were a hit at our Festive Nest sale last Christmas and I have made individual parcel toppers using this idea for Christmas this year (pictures to follow at a later date).  You can find them for sale at The Passionate Home.
I have been receiving lots of emails enquiring about our Festive Nest and when and where it is this year.....I am so sorry to tell everyone that we are not doing a Christmas sale this year due to some health issues among some of the group.   BUT DON'T WORRY..... all is well and we will be back with a spring sale!!!!!!

I am in the midst of moving homes (all before Christmas) so am completely overwhelmed with that which is why I have been so absent from the blogging world!  Looking so forward to our move....a smaller house and yard will allow me more crafting time!!!!!!

Keep warm my blogging friends!

VINTAGE INSPIRATION

I was so inspired at the Clayburn Village Old Schoolhouse Market over the weekend.
It was packed with so many vintage loving people....JUST LIKE ME!!!!
For all of you living in the Lower Mainland you'll be happy to hear that another vintage market in coming soon........be sure to visit the Ivory Vintage Market on June 25th.   Oh, and I almost forgot...some of us Festive Nest girls will be set up outside of Romancing the Home for Ocean Park Days on June 18 &19.
These were some silver wine goblets I planted up with Hens & Chicks for our Festive Nest Spring Sale (thank you Heather for all your precious grandmother's treasures!)
Happy day!
