PINWHEEL BANNER

I have been so loving some of the blogland paper projects I have been seeing this past year and so wanted to try some for myself.  I love how this "BOO" banner turned out and it was so simple and fun to do.  Just folded and cut book pages.......simple and CHEAP!!!!!

Did a quick trip in to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware yesterday.....what inspiring stores they are!!  I am anxious to get to work on some ideas that have been spinning around in my head.  Hope all my blogging friends are well!
Happy day!

  8. Hey Janis,
That banner could be used for almost any holiday or celebration. Very nicely done. Were you planning on giving us a tutorial or a few hints on making our own perhaps? Just thinking ahead to Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration, you need a publisher for your book soon, honestly.

  22. Wow...is that ever cute! I really enjoy your blog and the many things you do, from the crystal necklace to the silver teapot clocks that were in Somerset Home. You are a great inspiration. I tend to do many things and feel that is "wrong" somehow and you have shown that one can do that successfully!

P.S. Come and visit our blog if you would like. We love crafting of all kinds (me), vintage clothing (Kat) and vintage jewelry (both of us). My daughter and I make upcycled jewelry together. Right now I am getting some swaps ready and there are pictures of Prague and Croatia. We leave for home tomorrow (Minnesota) and were here for our exchange student son's wedding...a wonderful event!

  28. Love your "boo"! Of course the glitter just tops it off with that special bling you are famous for. I'm loving the cool crisp air of Fall, just wish it would last all day - your post puts me in the mood for October. Have a great week - I'm headed to Austin for 3 days on business.
