A FUN AND EASY JUNK PROJECT!

Thought I would post a fun and easy junk project today.....this was created using an old glass decanter found at the thrift store.  I simply added some rub-ons that I had on hand and glued a vintage earring to the front.  I am in the process of making some lavender scented bath salts to fill these with for Christmas.
Have a happy day!

  3. This is gorgeous! I've often given pretty recycled bottles of scented bath salts, but never thought to use the rub-ons. Great idea!

  4. Hi Janis,
Another pretty from you! You sure know how to dress up a plain bottle.
Where do you find the rub ons. I used to find them at Walmart and now they quit carrying them.

  13. Great idea. I LOVE using rub-ons. They are such a quick way to add some professional looking lettering and design. I've never tried them on glass though so you have inspired me!

  15. Thanks for the tutorial, Janis. My daughter would love this for a gift. In fact they all would. I better get busy. I think we have the same plant in the background. It is the one plant in my garden that is thriving.
    Gotta go thrifting again!
