HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Happy Mother's Day!
Now that... my kids are older, I understand how much work and love it takes to raise and to keep a family together.  The example of your strength, devotion, and patience is now rippling through the generations.  Thank you!  ~Forest Houtenschil

  5. Hi Janis,
Girl, I do not know how you do it!
You have so much talent and this little baby shoe is the cutest ever. Who would have thought to embellish it with a brooch altered with "mom." Why, you of course!

    Happy Mother's Day.

  12. What a sweet way to display that lovely broach. Everything you do ends up being SO pretty.
To answer your question as to how I like Winnipeg...I LOVE Winnipeg. It's a big city with a small town feel. I also love the fact that there is so much old vintagey merchandise to be found everywhere. Our GW is full of vintagey stuff as well as the garage sales. Last Sat. was a great example. I live in an old neighborhood in an old house and life could not be any better.

I am trying to re-design my backyard now that I have my long-awaited deck that my Dad built for me. Slow process for a non-gardener. *Hugs*
