SAVON JUGS

Hello my blogging friends......hope you are having a great week.
I am late getting my White Wednesday post up because all day I thought it was Tuesday....you see we had a long weekend here in Canada for Thanksgiving so now I am all mixed up with the days!!

These are some old coffee carafes that I embellished  and made in to soap/savon jugs.
Be sure to visit Kathleen's blog at Faded Charm Cottage for links to all the White Wednesday participants.

A SIMPLE JUNK PROJECT

Hello my blogging friends......what beautiful fall weather we are having on the west coast!!!!.... I have been so bogged down with CHRISTMAS projects that I haven't had much time for blogging so am missing all my blogging friends.

This is a candle stand I made from part of an old brass lamp, a vintage glass doorknob and an old plate.  All the items were found at the thrift store.  I used a strong gorilla glue to glue all the pieces together.

Hope you are all well!

CUPBOARD DOOR CHALKBOARD

Welcome to White Wednesday.
I found some old cupboard doors at a thrift store this past spring and was so excited to turn them into chalkboards like I had seen Ana at A Petite Cottage do.  The inside part of the cupboard door is painted with chalkboard paint and the outside a beautiful white.

I drilled a hole in the front to fit an old glass door knob I had on hand.
I love my little birdie stamp done on some vintage music papers...
Please visit Kathleen's blog at Faded Charm Cottage for thumbnails to all the White Wednesday participants.....it is an amazing group of talented bloggers.
Happy day!

PINWHEEL BANNER

I have been so loving some of the blogland paper projects I have been seeing this past year and so wanted to try some for myself.  I love how this "BOO" banner turned out and it was so simple and fun to do.  Just folded and cut book pages.......simple and CHEAP!!!!!

Did a quick trip in to Pottery Barn and Restoration Hardware yesterday.....what inspiring stores they are!!  I am anxious to get to work on some ideas that have been spinning around in my head.  Hope all my blogging friends are well!
Happy day!
